BORBA – THE INTERACTIVE HOUSE MUSEUM DEDICATED TO THE WINE OPENS ON JUNE 13th

The city of Borba has now an interactive house museum dedicated to winemaking with a focus on wine in clay amphorae.

This is a family project, based on the transformation of the ground floor and the courtyard of a traditional family winery in Borba into a museum.

The topic of this interactive house museum is focused on ancient winemaking  activity, the winery and the clay amphorae available on site, as well as the equipment and tools around the wine culture and wine.

The museum disposes new technologies and will have rooms with multimedia technology, as well as other rooms for carrying out wine tastings.

Our concept is primarily intended to promote the heritage of the region, in particular the production of wine and to keep alive the tradition of making wines in clay amphorae.

The interactive house museum, located in the center of Borba, next to the church of Santo António is expected to open on June 13th.
